A disturbing lack of caution was displayed as the tens of thousands of Afgan migrants were transported by the Biden administration was revealed in a Congressional report that presents government officials’ accounts.
The Washington Examiner summarized the report, an individual familiar with the document revealed an insignificant number of the nearly 100,000 Afghan migrants were interviewed in-person by a federal representative. Instead, the government relied on faulty terrorist and criminal databases that provided limited information.
“They created a brand new, out-of-cloth screening process just for this population. And then they told everyone, ‘This is what you follow, ‘” said a federal source to the Examiner, describing the expedited process. “DOD was such a heavy part of this, and they follow orders. And so, they’re like, ‘OK, here’s the checklist. I’ll do exactly what the checklist says — no more.’ So, that’s how it happened, but it was centrally managed via DHS, the National Security Council, the White House. They said, ‘This is how we’re going to do this. And we’re going to depart significantly from the standard way of doing screening and vetting as we would in literally any other situation.'”
Only 700 of those evacuated hold a special immigrant visa intended for confirmed Afghan partners of the U.S. government. Seventy-five percent are neither American citizens, green card holders, or confirmed military employees during its presence in Afghanistan.
While the establishment media maintains the evacuees were former partners of the U.S. military, comparing them to American war veterans. The narrative, however, is exposed as false in the report; a substantial majority of the evacuees fled hoping for welfare benefits and a quality of life available in western countries.
Those corporations wanting cheap labor and Democrats eager to import voters took advantage of the opportunity to bring as many Afghan migrants as possible, neglecting traditional screenings, immigration restrictions, and vetting for those coming from terrorist-ridden countries.
The majority of Afghan migrants rescued from the troubled country after falling to the Taliban were fighting-age men. Allready Afghan migrants have been implicated in sex assaults and terrorism; many have questioned why Biden didn’t focus on Christians and women, as they stand to lose the most.
