WATCH: Fans Display ‘Fire AOC’ Banner At Yankee Stadium

A group of Yankees fans displayed a banner calling for the removal of U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) at Yankee stadium ahead of Wednesday’s divisional clash with the Baltimore Orioles.

Text on the blue and red banner reads “OustAOC” followed by campaign information for her opponent, Tina Forte. “From Yankee Stadium in The Bronx, our message is loud and clear: It’s time to OUST AOC from Congress!” Forte wrote in an X post.

Ocasio-Cortez, who was first elected in 2018 when she defeated Democratic Caucus Chair Joe Crowley in a shocking primary result. Her name has since become synonymous with far-left politics, as the congresswoman has offered support for the Black Lives Matter riots in 2020, endorsed unlimited illegal immigration, universal basic income, late-term abortion and a host of additional far-left policy positions.

Her opponent in New York’s 14th Congressional District, Tina Forte, is running on a pro-Trump platform. Forte previously ran against AOC in 2022, when she raised $1.5 million in a losing effort.

Former President Donald Trump has expressed optimism that he could win the state, which has been trending slightly to the right in recent years. Trump is currently trapped in Manhattan on most weekdays as he battles against District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s dubious indictment and has teased a rally at Madison Square Garde.

Despite trends and a boost from Trump’s frequent presence, Forte will have her work cut out for her in the deep blue district. The Cook Partisan Voting Index currently grades the seat as D+28, rendering an upset practically impossible.
